In IPL 2025, Pooran continued his dominance by scoring the season’s fastest fifty against SRH, reaching the milestone in just 18 balls. This achievement surpassed previous records held by Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh, who had both scored fifties in 21 balls earlier in the season.
In IPL 2023, representing Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Pooran delivered a blistering 13-ball 44*, leading LSG to a seven-wicket victory over SRH at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. His innings included three fours and four sixes, dramatically shifting the game’s momentum in LSG’s favor.
Earlier in LSG’s season opener against Delhi Capitals (DC), Pooran had already showcased his destructive abilities with a blistering 75 off 30 balls, featuring seven sixes and six fours. His consistency has been nothing short of remarkable, with his last five IPL innings reading:
- 48 (26)
- 61 (27)
- 75 (29)
- 75 (30)
- 70 (26)
With this form, Pooran is establishing himself as one of the most dangerous finishers in the IPL
Overall, Pooran’s performances against SRH have been exceptional. Over seven innings, he has amassed 193 runs at an average of 48.25 and a striking strike rate of 196.93, with a top score of 77. These statistics underscore his consistent ability to challenge SRH’s bowling attack effectively
